1.) Digitalisation and inverterisation represent two relatively recent developments, amongst others (you are at liberty to invoke as many such relevant developments as you wish). As a manufacturer or supplier of HVACR equipment, what is the true measure of impact of such developments on such aspirations/outcomes as better energy efficiency, lower Total Cost of Ownership, better Indoor Environmental Quality IEQ), fire safety, reliability, data centre integrity, robust process cooling or stronger cold chain? (You may choose one, two or more aspirations/outcomes in writing your answer, as is/are relevant to the nature of products you manufacture or supply.) (68)

Answer: Introduction of Fujitsu's R32 Ducted Inverter Units:
In 2021, Fujitsu introduced the Middle East’s first lineup of R32 inverter units, including duct, wall-mounted, and cassette models. Using R32 enhances efficiency and lowers the carbon footprint. As General's agent, Taqeef tailored the launch to regional needs. The range includes 18 high-efficiency ducted models (6 on/off and 12 inverter) from 1.5 to 5 tons, allowing flexible, right-sized capacity selection to maximize performance while minimizing cost and space requirements.
General R32 Ducted Inverter Models are in average 10% higher than the current MoIAT MEPS criteria (T3 Condition) and 5% higher than the current ADQCC MEPS criteria (T1 Condition). Accordingly, CSPF in line with upcoming MoIAT 2025 regulation for these products yields a 3 Star Rating.
Ducted inverter units are designed to provide efficient and effective climate control for a variety of indoor environments.
R32 Refrigerant:
R32 refrigerant, used in Fujitsu inverter units, has a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP of 675 and ODP of 0) compared to R410A (GWP of 2,088), making it a more environmentally friendly option while also delivering higher energy efficiency in cooling applications. Thanks to R32 refrigerant, the Refrigerant volume is also lowest compared to competition.
DC inverter Compressors:
The DC twin rotary compressor embedded in the ducted inverter lineup is designed for high energy efficiency and reliable performance. Its optimized internal structure minimizes energy consumption while maintaining effective operation.
The compressor efficiency GENERAL duct inverter models highlight the energy-saving potential and operational advantages of inverter technology, which supports the goal of improved energy efficiency and lower Total Cost of Ownership.

Outdoor PCB:
The outdoor unit's PCB features a silicone potting coating that protects against damage from dust and salt, preventing tracking accidents. This coating also safeguards the unit from short circuits caused by small creatures entering the system.
Furthermore, a finely engineered power factor correction circuit of the power PCB improves power factor to more than 0.9, ensures reduced power loss and better electrical efficiency of motors.

Countermeasure for Anti Corrosion for Outdoor Units:
The cooling coils receive Blue Fin coating and pass a 500-hour salt-spray test to meet JIS Z2371 standards (ASTM B-117). The outdoor cabinet casing also undergoes a 960-hour test to ensure durability and corrosion resistance.
Product Quality Assurance:
The equipment manufacturer adheres to strict quality assurance standards, including testing and rating units in accordance with ISO 13253 at T1 and T3 conditions to meet the requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT) and the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (AD QCC). Electrical components are tested in accordance with IEC 60335-2-40, and units are manufactured per Japanese Industrial Standard JIS 9612:2013 in ISO 9001:2008 certified factories. Additionally, the manufacturer’s facility is certified under ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Salt spray tests for cooling coils and condenser cabinets are conducted in accordance with JIS Z2371, based on ASTM B117.
Competitor Comparison is conducted in [annex1]

2.) Aftermarket operational/lifecycle/performance data have become an integral part of continuous improvement in the HVACR industry. As a manufacturer or supplier, what is the data that you collect/track, and what is your approach to that data? How do you collect/track that data? How do you validate them? How do you use the data? And what is your approach to analysing the data in ensuring that your interpretation and subsequent data-based action are able to improve such aspirations/outcomes as better energy efficiency, lower Total Cost of Ownership, better Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), fire safety, reliability, data centre integrity, robust process cooling or stronger cold chain? (You may choose one, two or more aspirations/outcomes in writing your answer, as is/are relevant to the nature of products you manufacture or supply.) (69)
