Submission Entry: | 1.) Given that buildings consume 40% of global energy, within which at least 40% is consumed by HVAC systems, how has the goal of 1.5 C additionally impacted your project opportunities? What specific products have you supplied or incorporated to support the 1.5 goal? (213)Answer: FortyGuard’s TemperatureOS integrates AI and ML technologies to monitor and manage urban heat in real time. By collecting billions of temperature data points from urban environments, we provide precise analytics that help cities and enterprises optimize energy use, improve cooling systems, and reduce carbon emissions. Our technology supports the 1.5°C goal by enabling predictive interventions and improving urban heat resilience. 2.) Describe the bigger picture you see as an IoT service provider. How do socio-economic and sustainable development initiatives in the country, or countries, you are operating impact/influence you as a manufacturer, supplier or service-provider? (214)Answer: As a software service provider focused on urban heat management, FortyGuard sees the bigger picture in aligning with socio-economic and sustainable development initiatives. Operating in a region like the Middle East, where urbanization and climate challenges intersect, we recognize the critical role our solutions play in fostering sustainable development. 3.) How has the global drive towards AI impacted your business in terms of sales cycles, conversion rates of prospects to contracts and improved profitability? (215)Answer: With the increasing demand for AI-driven solutions, we have not seen shorter sales cycles as clients seek out advanced, data-driven methods for urban heat management. 4.) To what extent do you believe you have the scope to feel concerned about, and to contribute to, the socio-economic and sustainable development of the country, or countries, you are operating in? How frequently are you able to precisely meet the specific needs of consultants and of developers/builders (clients)? (216)Answer: As climate change continues to impact urban areas, our AI-driven temperature intelligence solutions help cities mitigate the effects of urban heat, reducing energy consumption, improving public health, and enhancing livability. This directly contributes to the economic and environmental resilience of communities. 5.) What steps have you taken to ensure cyber security, so that customers’ personal or business data are not compromised? (217)Answer: At FortyGuard, we take cybersecurity seriously and have implemented multiple measures to ensure that our customers’ personal and business data is protected. Our platform utilizes end-to-end encryption for data transmission, ensuring that all information shared between users and our system is safeguarded from unauthorized access. We employ multi-factor authentication (MFA) for accessing sensitive data and ensure that only authorized personnel can make changes to critical systems. 6.) As manufacturer, supplier or service-provider, what specific actions do you take in terms of handholding on installation and training on operation, plus ensuring availability of aftersales support? (218)Answer: We ensure that our clients receive comprehensive support throughout the entire lifecycle of our solutions. While we are not involved in physical installation, we provide detailed onboarding and training on our software platform, ensuring that city planners, engineers, and facility managers fully understand how to use our AI-powered TemperatureOS and analytics dashboards. 7.) What pricing policy do you follow as a manufacturer, supplier or service-provider of IoT products or services? What are you doing to attract customers - innovative commercial contracts, project financing, etc.? (219)Answer: Our core model includes a subscription-based SaaS structure for our AI-powered TemperatureOS platform. This offers clients a variety of tiers, ranging from basic to premium services, depending on the scale of data access, analytics depth, and real-time insights required. 8.) What management strategies and guidelines have you established to counter payment delays and other such instances, which are affecting your cashflow as a manufacturer, supplier or service-provider, and are preventing an ideal building construction eco-system (involving all stakeholders) from forming? What creative strategies are you utilising to circumvent/overcome cash flow challenges? (220)Answer: We have implemented several management strategies to counter payment delays and ensure consistent cash flow, critical for sustaining our operations. 9.) What do you envisage the future of IoT to be? What futuristic scenario are you working towards the supply of IoT devices and software? Are you providing completely cloud-based solutions on a recurring revenue model or on-premises installation of software for a one-time fee? (221)Answer: We are actively working toward building cloud-based solutions that leverage AI and ML to collect, analyze, and visualize urban temperature data in real time. |
